2013 Plan Year Open Enrollment for (DCAP) and (MEDFLEX)
The 2013 Open Enrollment period began November 1 and ends November 30, 2012 for the Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) and the Medical Flexible Spending Account (MEDFLEX). These two programs allow employees to pay for qualified expenses on a pre-tax basis.
DCAP - You can save as much as 30% on dependent care expenses by participating. Depending on your filing status, you may contribute up to $5000 for the plan year.
MEDFLEX - You can be reimbursed for eligible out-of-pocket medical expenses such as co-pays, glasses and dental work, for yourself, your spouse and your qualifying child(ren) and/or relatives. You may contribute between $520 and $2500 for the plan year.

Please also note that the Qualified Transportation Account (QTA) program lets you pay for eligible transportation and parking expenses with pre-tax dollars. Participants can enroll in this program at any time.
