| "For those Lecturers who elect group health insurance under the statutory self-pay provision, and who are contracted to teach at least one course each semester of the academic year, there will be an option to be paid over 26 pay periods." | |
| This will provide continuous health insurance over the full year rather than the on-again, off-again situation that previously provided health insurance coverage between November and January and then between March and June. Spreading the pay over 12 months is the vehicle that makes the continuous coverage possible.
